History of Badger Truck Parts In 1973 Leo Panchyshyn, an Auto Body Mechanic opened a body shop in Edmonton. Four months later he left the body shop to start another shop on his father's farm near Legal. Leo did body work and on the side he sold the left over parts.

Two years later his brother Vic joined and they formed the companies: Badger Auto Body and Salvage and Badger Truck Parts Ltd. Within a short while the companies began to grow and they had to build a bigger shop and hire more employees.

By 1986 Leo decided that there were too many auto wreckers. In 1988 Leo and Dena bought out Vic. Leo always liked heavy duty trucks so he started wrecking them. He went to NAIT and received his Heavy Duty Technician ticket. They started a trucking company and wrecking more heavy duty trucks. Dena went back to school and got her Diploma in Computerized Office Administration. Their son James is an Auto Body Mechanic and son Jeff is a Heavy Duty Technician. Leo's brother Andy is a parts Technician as well as a Heavy Duty Technician.
